Mostly right...

What the House Test Says About You

You are happy with who you are, and you don't have an inflated sense of self importance. You do your own thing quietly. You don't take up a lot of space.

You can't stand community oriented people and annoying "buy local" campaigns. You prefer to live the best life possible, and that doesn't really involve many other people.

You are creative, expressive, and bright. You are always in the middle of some amazing project.

You look attractive, but mostly because your rely on your natural good looks to get by.

You are moved by what's exotic and unique. You often have the mentality of a traveler, even when you're not traveling.

Day of Jubilee

I went to see "The Happening" last week--it had potential, but really, it was like watching "Night of the Living Dead" again, but with Marky-Mark (I'm not complaining.). It's time for someone to make a new classic. I have enjoyed most of M. Night Shyamalan's films, so it's a good thing I didn't go into this one expecting much. However, when I got scared, I made my friend hold my hand, which didn't make him that happy about watching the movie with me lol Good thing it wasn't that long.

I would instruct someone to bring me all of the bagels and muffins in the land, but I'm pretty sure Josh Lyman has already eaten them. I'm a poll worker, and it's the state's primaries today. As there is little turnout, I am a tad bit bored and hungry. Luckily my sweet little brothers just brought me lunch (Macaroni and cheese, a peanut butter & honey sandwich on an english muffin, and some Go Tarts).

Be patient with me as I change themes a few times...

A poor wife?

40

As a 1930s wife, I am
Poor

I took the test as though I had a husband... Apparently I would suck lol--but then we all know I'd never have survived in the 30's! :)

I met this great guy today. He was in the Peace Corps, and very friendly and charming. We had a great conversation until he told me about his girlfriend. (groan) It's true--the good ones are all taken or gay! Or shipped off somewhere in the military, I think, because there's really not many around here...

I called to make a to-go order for lunch yesterday, and the lady asked if I wanted my usual. It made me so happy to be known by my name, and to have a "usual", and my usual booth when I go in! :) Silly small things that make me happy.

An Ode to Andy

This morning I felt like Orlando Bloom in a Drew Baylor, "Elizabethtown," "Did I miss 60-B? DID I MISS 60-B!?!?!" kind of way. Some days I feel like I missed a turn off somewhere. Most days I'm more of a Claire than a Drew, though--I'm the substitute person. I've accepted this job, and most of the time it doesn't bother me, but I am getting tired of it lately.

We had my un-birthday party at work today--such a good time! :) The girls here know me very well. :) And I'd like to wish Anderson Cooper, love of my life, a very happy birthday!

Today I have been dreaming about Morroco. I feel so restless lately, it's taking all the energy I have not to daydream constantly. I've been dreaming of this gorgeous Marrakech blue that I want to paint my room. I've got it all laid out in my mind, and I keep adding little trinkets from pretend travels. Someday I'll really get to go there. :)
