A poor wife?

40

As a 1930s wife, I am
Poor

I took the test as though I had a husband... Apparently I would suck lol--but then we all know I'd never have survived in the 30's! :)

I met this great guy today. He was in the Peace Corps, and very friendly and charming. We had a great conversation until he told me about his girlfriend. (groan) It's true--the good ones are all taken or gay! Or shipped off somewhere in the military, I think, because there's really not many around here...

I called to make a to-go order for lunch yesterday, and the lady asked if I wanted my usual. It made me so happy to be known by my name, and to have a "usual", and my usual booth when I go in! :) Silly small things that make me happy.

Not silly at all. :) It's those "small" moments that make up the bright part of life. I love that you enjoy them! :)

LOL! I came out slightly better on the 1930s wife thing, but I have to say I don't quite believe it, LOL. I'm glad we have reliable electricity and a/c - greatly prefer this century ;-).

And congrats on having "usuals!" That is fun! :-)
